A Smoother Path to Safety 🚸
Sometimes, a small change can make a big difference.

We recently upgraded an evacuation access point at an Early Childhood Learning Centre, making it easier for educators to move nursery cots through the emergency exit and towards the muster point.

The existing pathway had an awkward change in levels, creating a difficult transition onto the car park and an unnecessary bottleneck.

So, we fixed it. 👇
🔹 New ramp connecting into the existing gradient
🔹 New kerbing around the garden bed
🔹 New bitumen transition onto the car park
🔹 A smoother, safer access route

The result? A much easier path from the nursery to the muster point — exactly what was needed.

And seriously… how smooth does that concrete and bitumen work look?! 👌

Over 20 months, the Allcraft Projects team delivered refurbishment and fit-out works across 10 Goodstart Early Learning Centres throughout Perth and regional WA.

From playground transformations to custom joinery and internal upgrades, our works included:

🏖️ Custom sandpits & cubby houses
☀️ Shade sails & soft-fall surfaces
🪚 Custom reception desks & cabinetry
🍽️ Staff kitchenettes & nappy change areas

All while the centres remained operational, with careful planning to minimise disruption to staff, children and families.

What started as eight office chairs destined for disposal became an opportunity to create a positive community outcome.
As part of our "Reuse First" commitment, our team carefully assessed the chairs, confirmed they were safe and suitable for continued use, and donated them to No Limits Perth.
By choosing reuse over disposal, we’re helping reduce waste, extending the life of quality furniture and supporting organisations that provide essential items to individuals and families rebuilding their lives across Perth.

These photos are from one of our current commercial remediation projects following water ingress.

What looked like minor damage on the surface revealed extensive mould growth hidden inside the wall cavity once it was opened up.

Hidden mould can spread quickly when moisture becomes trapped, which is why it's important to investigate water damage properly rather than simply repairing the visible surface.

Where significant mould is identified, specialist consultants can assess the extent of the contamination and recommend the appropriate remediation process before reinstatement begins.
