At Allcraft Projects, we’re usually sharing the projects we complete for clients throughout Perth and Western Australia. This time, we thought we’d give you a look behind the scenes and are excited to share a project that’s a little more personal… our own workplace improvement!
Like many growing businesses, our office no longer had space for a dedicated meeting room. So we decided it was time to create a space that worked just as hard as we do.
The result is a design that could comfortably serve two purposes. It needed to remain a cosy lunchroom where our team could relax, while also becoming a professional meeting room where we can sit down with clients, suppliers and contractors.
The old lunchroom has been completely transformed. The original cream walls have been painted with warmer, contemporary colours to create a more inviting atmosphere, while the exposed brickwork has been lined with gyprock, and new vinyl plank flooring installed over the old painted concrete, all to provide a cleaner, more modern finish that better reflects today’s office design and commercial interiors.
Old storage cabinets have been removed making way for purpose-built office storage solutions. This is our most significant transformation, the installation of custom joinery designed to maximise our storage space and complement the existing kitchenette. We now have a utility cupboard, a custom under-stair storage unit with integrated drawers, incorporating lockers, a secure key cabinet, dedicated first aid storage and additional storage for office supplies.
The makeover included our downstairs foyer and stairwell, where we’ve installed new Allcraft Projects signage and painted a feature wall in our corporate blue to create a stronger first impression for everyone who visits our office.
This project gave us the opportunity to showcase the type of quality workmanship we regularly provide for our clients. Our team have excelled, which is our usual standard for such exceptional tradesmen.
Most importantly, we’ve created a space that our team can genuinely enjoy. Somewhere to take a break, catch up over lunch, collaborate on projects and welcome clients into an environment that reflects who we are as a business.
