Early Learning Centre Projects Delivered Across WA

Over a 20 month period, our team led by our Project Manager, was proud to deliver a series of refurbishment and fit out projects across ten Goodstart Early Learning Centres throughout Perth and two regional Western Australian locations. Working closely with both the centres, Project and Facilities Management teams, each project was carefully planned and delivered while the centres remained operational, ensuring minimal disruption to staff, children and families.

Playground Upgrades That Inspire Learning

A significant part of the programme involved playground upgrades that transformed outdoor learning spaces into safe, functional and engaging environments where children can play, explore and develop.

Our scope of works included:

• Construction of new playground storage sheds
• Custom built sandpit boxes & cubby houses
• Large sandstone and paved edge sandpits
• Installation of new shade sails
• Soft fall safety mat and wet pour rubber installations
• New turf, bike tracks and landscaping improvements

These outdoor childcare refurbishment works not only enhanced the appearance of each centre but also created durable, low maintenance play areas designed to withstand everyday use while supporting children’s learning and development.

Commercial Fit Outs and Custom Joinery

Inside the centres, our experienced building team completed a range of commercial fit out and custom joinery works that improved both functionality and presentation.

Works included:

• Custom reception desks
• Staff kitchenettes
• New nappy change areas
• Purpose built nappy change steps
• Internal painting
• New commercial flooring installations

Our skilled cabinet makers and tradespeople delivered quality cabinetry, joinery and finishing works with a strong focus on safety, durability and attention to detail. Every refurbishment was completed to a consistently high standard while maintaining a welcoming environment for educators, children and visitors.

Multi-Site Project Management

Successfully delivering multi site refurbishment projects across ten operational childcare centres required detailed planning, coordination and communication.

Our Project Manager and team worked closely with centre managers, facilities management representatives and stakeholders to schedule works efficiently, minimise disruption and ensure every stage of each project was delivered safely, on time and to the highest standard.
