Full amenities strip out and upgrade
Allcraft Projects completed a full upgrade of staff amenities at the Australia Post facility in Inglewood, delivering modernised bathroom and support facilities within a live operational environment.
The project involved the complete demolition and strip out of the existing amenities, followed by a full rebuild including new male, female and accessible bathroom facilities, incorporating a staff shower within the accessible amenities area.
Works extended beyond the bathrooms to include refurbishment of the adjoining passageways, with upgrades to ceilings, floor finishes and wall treatments to create a consistent and improved overall environment.
The refurbishment included the installation of new wall and floor tiling, bathroom partitions and cubicles, updated lighting, new ceilings and full repainting throughout. All elements were designed and installed to meet modern standards while improving functionality and presentation.
To ensure business continuity throughout the works, temporary bathroom facilities were installed externally, allowing staff operations to continue without disruption while the internal amenities were upgraded.
The project was delivered over a three week programme, requiring careful staging, coordination and site management within an active workplace.
The result is a fully upgraded amenities area, providing improved functionality, hygiene and comfort for staff while maintaining operational continuity throughout the project.
